Copper Guitar Pick with Pointism Gone Crazy

  • 1800

With it's roots in modern art, this guitar pick was cut from 17 gauge copper and features a retro take on Pointism with a unique dotted leaf and flower design that was created by chasing the copper with a hammer and nail to produce a dot pattern in the shape stems with leaves. I treated the pick with a dark patina to add contrast and depth to the dots and wire brushed the pick surface for a warm glowing burnish. The guitar pick was very time consuming to create, but I love the final piece and I hope you do as well

My copper guitar picks have hand filed edges, polished surfaces, and a smooth glide. The pick measures about 1.25 inches long by 1.15 inches wide at the top, weighs about 6 grams, and is based on a standard plastic guitar pick.
