Brass Guitar Picks

Rocking out the Brass

Similar to the composition of bronze, brass is also an alloy composed of 90% copper, however the next primary metal in brass, zinc, produces a hard alloy with an incredibly low coefficient of friction making brass picks ideal for a smooth glide and fast pick work. We do not polish our brass picks as they are impossible to hold when sweating, so instead a directional brushed finish is applied to give you some traction. After playing for a short while, the harder steel strings will super polish the brass along the contact surfaces. Out of all our picks, brass has the brightest tones with the greatest accentuation on the lower upper tones followed by some mild selective attenuation of the mid tones.
